What We Grow
Out at our farms, we have the advantage of having soil that is fertile and sandy. Many plants, such as cantaloupe and watermelon, love this loose, quickly draining soil and grow well for us. Other plants love it also and we enjoy searching the seed catalogs every winter looking for new varieties to grow.
For 2009, we will have many of our stand-bys that have produced well for us the last few years. We love our seed catalogs and are pretty willing to try any new seed or variety that comes along, provided it grows in our area and isn’t too fussy. This list isn’t complete and we will make final selections in January & February.
